Monday, July 7, 2008 our 3 year old son Joe went in for an MRI to check if he's been having seizures and we discovered that he has a golfball sized cancerous brain tumor. The hospital scheduled surgury for July 10th but an emergency surgury made it postpone until yesterday.

---PS The first few post are from Aunt Nannie who is setting up this blogspot while Joe, Joey and Michelle are at the hospital. Then either Michelle or Joe will take over this site to keep you informed and give better info.

Una familia es bendecida con el amor que prodigan a sus hijos, yo se que esta hermosa familia lo es, admiro a esta madre que brinda tanto amor a sus hijos y no se desalienta ante nada, admiro a este padre por el carino que le da a sus hijos. Se que la alegria que veo en ellos es real por que la he visto siempre. Gracias por hacerme sentir que hay esperanza de ver gente joven llena de amor para con sus hijos; en estos tiempos tan dificiles que bueno es ver que existen familias llenas de amor. Se que Dios siempre los bendecira con las sonrisas de estas criaturas hermosas, y seran por siempre una familia unida, llenas de amor y Fe.
Wow...here we are on Monday, July 14. What a picture of health and strength I can se in the face of Joseph today! Just several days after the operation and Joseph is doing great from what we can at least see.
He's a fighter and a champ! Yes, even more of a champ than Uncle Dave Ammon (which is something you won't hear much from my mouth but he deserves it!).
Keep getting stronger and stronger Joseph.
Vita's words are great...the family is strong.
